“ Larry is the man! And Irma is the most gracious of hostesses (just make sure you have some Cheez-Its ready.) ”
“ Great vibe, drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is fantastic—the sole of my shoe fell off and when I asked Lawrence the bartender for duct tape, he pulled out a whole tub of supplies and proceeded to cheerfully cobble my shoe for me. He saved the day! Corporation forever! ”
“ This place was great! Definitely a dive bar but the staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. Best gumbo I’ve had on this trip to NOLA. Catfish Po Boy was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem. ”
“ Labor Day Weekend 2023! This spot was across the street from our hotel. My friends found this place trying to grab breakfast one morning. Unassuming from the outside but a lot of love in the air on the inside. Everyone was courteous and accommodating. They had some of the best gumbo I had during my stay. I even ordered some to take home. I can’t wait to visit again. ”
“ Really enjoyed this pub/foodie spot. Ordered the muffuletta- phenomenal New Orleans style. Great staff too ”
“ Spent a few days in NOLA where this was my corner bar. Can't speak to the food but the service and vibes were awesome. Laurence and Irma the pup are gems (great food suggestions too) ”
“ Shrimp poboy, gator sausage poboy, tater tots, and the gumbo was best so far in New Orleans at this place. ”
“ Excellent food, good prices, fast service, and a nice atmosphere. Came here for a conference and stopped in here for lunch the first day. Came back every single day after. It’s a 2 minute walk from the conference center, the service is quick, and they have all the New Orleans classics if you’re from out of town like I am and want to eat New Orleans food staples. They’ve got jambalaya (which was my favorite), po boys, gumbo, red beans and rice, muffuletta, all of it. Perfect lunch spot, highly recommend. ”
